Gennady Kolodenker, DPM is a board certified podiatrist and podiatric surgeon in practice for 13 years, specializing in wound care. Dr. Kolodenker is an expert in the care and management of non-healing wounds, ulcers and diabetic infections in the feet, ankles, and legs, as well as Charcot foot reconstruction.

Dr. Kolodenker attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2003. He went on to receive a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2007 from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL and completed a three-year surgical foot and ankle podiatry residency at University Hospital in Newark, NJ (UMDNJ), serving as Chief Resident in his final year. During his residency, Dr. Kolodenker was able to serve a great need in the surrounding community and gained vast experience in trauma, limb preservation, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Kolodenker is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine in Adult and Pediatric Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is on staff at Hoag Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center Irvine, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. He has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, and ACFAS Conference Poster.

Dr. Kolodenker is fluent in both English and Russian.
